GRAPHOANALYSIS. Forensic Handwriting Analysis (Document Examination, Forgery Detection). Handwriting analysis (graphoanalysis) to detect possible forgery by comparing a known handwriting sample (exemplar) with an alleged forged document, and/or comparing a suspected forgery to handwriting samples of a suspected forger.

Forensic Profiling of Writers. Graphoanalytical, graphological, and linguistic analysis of handwriting to assist in identifying writers of hate mail (anonymous or threatening letters or ransom notes). Handwriting may also be evaluated for its linguistic content to determine such things as educational level and/or cultural/regional origin.

FACIAL FEATURES ANALYSIS. Comparison and analysis of photographs to make a positive identification of an individual based on their facial characteristics. This can be useful with identifying people who have undergone reconstructive surgery to deliberately alter their appearance or to verify an identity of someone claiming to be a person who is believed to be dead or has been missing for a long time and does not look exactly as they once did.
